Lord, we are so sad that the people of Mali live in fear, particularly since Islamist attacks have dramatically increased in the past two years. Especially in the southern part of the country, Christians in particular are at high risk of being attacked, kidnapped or murdered. We pray against the work of Boko Haram in this nation, as well as the work of smaller groups that want to join in with the evil perpetuated by this terroristic group. May their plans to establish the West Africa Islamist State be thwarted. May freedom--both religious and otherwise--reign. And may the Gospel continue to spread rapidly within Mali. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
