Prayer about recent arrests of Christians in Eritrea

https://www.charismanews.com/world/76679-at-least-30-pentecostal-christians-arrested-during-community-prayer-meeting

Almighty God, we pray for the 30 Eritrean Christians arrested for their faith in recent days. We specifically pray that you would sustain them as they are pressured to renounce their faith. May these believers triumph “by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony” (Revelation 12:11). May government officials recognize and acknowledge their innocence and thus quickly release them from custody. We also express our concern for the 141 Christians, including 23 men, 104 women and 14 minors, who were recently arrested in Asmara's Mai Temenai area. We do not know yet who all has been released, but please continue to bring comfort and healing where needed. Lord, we pray for growth and understanding in Eritrea’s government-church relations. Soften the heart of the president, moving him toward you and toward the awareness that communities of faith add value to his nation. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.
